Don't know how you do it! Are doing it! It's the best for you right now, and I am glad for you. I try to limit it, no more than one slice a day, if that. But gotta have some. Good for you, dear!

I often think that bread, especially warm bread with lots of butter, will be my downfall one day.. I admire your dedication Taps.

I love the looks of that loaf, whatever it is! And I'm sure your loved ones mean well when they tell you 'just one won't hurt you', knowing how much you love it. And you know what? They're right...

That loaf looks like a wonderful treat. When I have over the years read about some of the things your family made I think I could eat myself into a frenzy at grandmas house.

I myself cannot imagine giving up bread. Maybe one day that will happen. I do not know.

I have cut down on wheat products but not out. It is spicy Chilli hot foods that upset my reflux bad. They are difficult to do without.

It's especially difficult with bread, I think, because we've had it
drummed into our brains that there's nothing healthier than whole grains. Which of course is not true. It doesn't take long to adjust to getting along without flour products once you realize they make you sick. Although I do still enjoy the scent of fresh-baked goods.
