Wiley and I unashamedly spend our days unless there is some appointment or such needed to be kept, quietly living here alone but together. Even together we can go for ages without talking then burst out into some fun from nowhere. Our generation roughly born before during and right at the end of the War worked really hard throughout our lives and now deserve to decide our pleasure years.

The days and years roll on, the younger folks step into our
former roles. It's not depression, exactly - not sad. It's just settling in.
