It's connections and politics and what they want the people to think. I imagine the top brass in the church are wringing their hands.

Well some Popes I have nearly admired. Of course they are only men and probably ambitious ones. Time heals all ; Saints have that advantage. Now for Shakespeare  myths grow.

It does not look like the Pope understands the gravity of the situation with Islam. I wonder how much longer before he realizes it, assuming he does, of course, which could very well be unlikely.

I can't comment on religion and/or politics. But, d#&n, you would make a fabulous attorney! (That's a compliment, even considering the view many have of some legal folk!) And yes, I'll LOL!

No I am not going to read that stuff. This is an emotive subject just like abortion and the right to assisted dying. Politics and religion. They can spoil a lovely time. My big Sis wanted to have a "discussion" last time I was in Australia about who wrote the plays of Shakespeare. I told her I dan't care and she didn't want me around after that. I actually don't care. Shakespeare is some of the most wonderful works I have been privileged to see to read to study. it just is and the name of the man or woman really doesn't matter. 500 years later it is Shakespeare!

Well this is the best yet. He is almost there. Nobody will get rid of that Pope he is the friend of the supposed god that is coming up out of the ground in Iraq or Iran. The Jews were persecuted by Catholics and the men who broke rank with the Catholics and finally brought the Word of God available to the non-Catholic population were persecuted to the point of burning them alive at the stake. Every day we are possibly only 7 years away from the end of all things as we know them. God does not tell us what day but he gives us clues and they are all around us. Keep up the good work, one day you will come to understand what you are writing. I didn't mean that to be tacky. Be blessed.
