Good question Annicita! In a video production booth, we get several, maybe four or five incoming camera feeds, but can only show two of them at once. All the cameras are routed through the video switcher first and assigned a letter or number. On the switcher board, there are buttons that allow the producer to change from camera A to Camera D by simply punching a button. Not everyone can run one of these as you need to be paying close attention to what is going on and be able to see when one camera view is better than the others.
