I know that at times some foreign nations' governments fall for The Onion. The Iranian government once gloated about how Ahmadinejhad was more popular among whites than Obama and North Korea's bragging about Kim Jong Un being considered the sexiest man.

what a great Post. and Snopes doesn't seem to be as easy to get to for me as it used to be and like you I am sick of spin city and jokes that aren't jokes and well I prefer to watch a movie on Netflix or a silly show where I can overdose on the episodes. Again on Netflix. At least I know they are fake...even if built on a true story they remind you that times places and names have been changed.
