Hilarious!! But have to admit that I like Facebook - with the hours I've been working Facebook gives me the opportunity to see my grandchildren and great grandchildren every day through photos their parents post, lets me chat to my daughter at the crazy hour of 4 AM - when we are both up working - without disturbing anyone else, allows me, the insomniac, to keep in touch with family and friends across the country at that same crazy time of the day(even if they are in bed they see the notes in the morning), and helps me follow movements that I probably would not be able to do otherwise (like that utterly ignorant attempt to ban pitbulls!!!!). SO send me the cops and the psychiatrist - please tell them to bring wine!

I'm laughing out loud at this, and thinking at the same time it's such a
sad commentary on the social media age. Everyone, it seems, feels isolated and has a pathological need for affirmation and approval. No longer does one have to actually have an empty nest to feel abandoned...

Well they are all doing it Naut providing the facts and chewing it. One of my nephews occasionally writes rubbish like I am in Manchester drinking in the Eagle. Once I was coerced to join but I never comment. I might say John in Manchester I have just burgled your house, I am pleased you are eighty miles away, enjoy your drink. Folk say things on Blogit that they would not confess to a neighbor probably, well I do.
