I have some trepidation about some parts of the world,

but it probably wouldn't stop me from going if the chance came up!

I'm glad you had such a great time!

I believe usb ports are standard in cars because so many people have electronics that need recharging, and the adapters in cig lighters are just the thing for it! My 2003 truck has two outlets for adapters. I store the adapters in the ashtray.

Now I have to ask the really untechie question -- why does a motor vehicle need a USB port?  (I have a 12-year-old Toyota and to my knowledge there's no GSP / cellphone / or other uplink whatsit) The newest gadget on it is the thingamabob that causes the check engine light to come on if there's something that needs professional attention.

Re:

haha CCT - well remembered!  No I wouldn't have worried over $15, but I was baffled and once my curiosity is sparked .... you know the rest.

Well done Meme I did not think you would go, you still have quite a bit of fighting spirit. It made me smile though I did not think you would have argued over £15. I remember when a taxi driver ripped you off and you gave him a tip.
