I agree. I know they try to put their spin on it, but the way in which things are handled have not reflected too well on the political process.

I have always lived where the party faithful elect the Leader at a convention and then we the people vote for the party we like or the independent or whoever. Costs a lot less money. Costs a lot less emotional waste. I suppose it is what I know but I like the Westminster system.

There is a whole lot wrong with our political system and, it seems to be worse this time than I have ever remembered in the past.
