Hi, Kabu. I enjoy research in general. I'll sometimes be reading about one thing & it will spark interest in something else that I will need to look up. When it comes to writing, they say, write what you know. For that, I would need to do little or no research.

Research, inspiration, imagination, tenacity, and the ability to focus and not digress...to me that would do it!

An inspiration sparks and thinking on it for a bit lights the idea. If it comes from own experinece one can just start to write but otherwise it is best to do sound research. personally I can become so involved in research so that I nearly forget to write. LOL.

Probably one needs success with one book to really start the inspiration flowing. I would imagine. Nice that your husband supports you, he is a good guy.
