I have voice mail, so, I wouldn't be able to hear someone leaving a message. Most don't. Which shows it's either a wrong number or a telemarketer.

we get so few calls so that we keep our phone on silent unless we are expecting something. If they really want us, they will leave a message.

I get them most days, but I never answer unless someone speaks on the Answer machine. They could be a darned nuisance . I know someone who answers and leads them on because he finds it annoying.
