Re:

I understand. I'm 47 & remembered going to the library regularly as a kid. I continued that up into my 20's. Occasionally after that. It was always an adventure to me.

Being that we, currently, live in a studio (and don't have much for the essentials), then, having a Kindle is practical for me. It's not only gotten me back into reading daily, it's also gotten my husband to read more. It's been a positive for us.

Re:

I've always appreciated sales, bargains, discounts. I was raised by my grandma & from her & through experience, I learned to save where there wasn't much difference in quality between A, B, C & D & with B, it was also lower priced. To spend on what mattered. Such as cars, because, you want them to last.

Some of what I read are series. So, the first one is usually free & the rest cost a little. If I enjoyed the first, then, I purchase the rest. But, only one at a time. I'm enjoying looking for books & adding them. The Kindle has so much more storage than my phone does.

I myself am still holdiing out against the e-readers. I am a paper kind of guy.

Well I must admit I like the Kindle.  The quality of the cheaper books is a bit iffy. The only real advantage I find is one can enlarge the print, some paper backs tend to have very small print.
