I feel they can be a good mental evaluation. What people do is dictated by their faith or lack of it.

Separation of Church and State should still hold true in United States. Secular values and religious values may or may not be the same legally, and are clearly not always a basis to form a good "mental evaluation" on a candidate, or anyone else, in my opinion.

Bill dear I don't believe Church has a place in the Government of the people. But I am not part of your country so what I say is not relevant.
