Glad you enjoyed.  It seems we have found another common interest.  I only have one question....  what took you so long to find this blog?  LOL

Wow! I was on the edge of my chir watching this! I've always been a bit of a speed freak myself (with tickets to prove it, LOL), have driven all kinds of sports cars (even had a Porsche once) and have taken race cars  around Mosport International (though not in a race) not too far from where I live - but this was magnificent! Thanks for showing us this one!

Re: Found him!

That's fine.....he is a really neat young man - raised that way by his mom, a lady I'm proud to call a very good friend.

Found him!

Krisles--  I found Kyle Swanson,  read about him,  I already like the kid.  Found a great video of him on Youtube,  that fits right in with this blog.  I will post it next,  if that is OK with you,  my dear....?  I will not post it,  if you would rather I did not.

Somehow,  it makes sense that you rode motorcycles at some point in your life,  from what I have gleaned about you.  Motorcycles are a great attraction to certain kinds of people.....  we gravitate or magnetate to a  "need for speed"  as you call it,  and motorcycles are the best way to fill that need.  They represent the ultimate freedom,  power,  and flexibility.  But,  being the paragon of moderation that I am,  I have managed to avoid serious injury.  It is a conscious effort.  Every time I ride.  I constantly balance the  "need for speed"  with the need to avoid broken bones.  Thus I have avoided the casualty claims you mention.  But I get no credit for this,  from my family.  Oh well..... I know that I ride smart,  even if they don't know it.

Well, I must admit to a bit of a need for speed myself...and have the mandatory tailpipe burn on my left calf ...as do my mom and daughter! LOL!  That said, a career spent dealing with casualty claims got me off of 2-wheels. I wouldn't be able to handle it as a mom if I had a real rider...I work with a Motorcross racer's mom (Kyle Swanson if you want to check him out) and I listened to her sobbing when he broke both legs in a crash several years ago - but, he's back at it!  Funny you posted this...I just watched To Live and Die in L.A. - it's not far behind Bullit's for one of the top car chases in the movies.

Thanks, Kabu

If I was my mother,  I would probably want me to stop it too,  LOL.  But I do ride with older guys and we tone it down quite a bit,  not trying to keep up with the young and reckless.  We have been hurt,  and we know HOW MUCH it hurts.  Besides,  you don't have to go crazy fast to have fun.

well that is a set of skills suited to my Son #1 and i blush to say that I am a bit like your Mother...I wish he would stop some of what he does...but it does look like fun and very very clever driving.

I personally don't feel that any of us here have a right to criticise your recreation enjoyment.
