Reminds me of sliced and staggered rye bread pieces stacked on  another during houvre d'ouerves. Nice!!

I am sure that the carabao that Son bought has long ago been eaten as their lifespan is 18-20 years and this was 30+ years ago.  They are purchased when young, used for plowing, draught animals, for riding, for milk and milk products if female, for sale of meat when they are no longer efficient at work, and their leather is used for many things.

I've seen a photo like this, isn't it amazing? Imagine farming a

mountain like that, or even climbing up from one level to the next to pull weeds...
