My mother and you have a lot in common (but she is a good ten years older...) - her fourth child, my little brother, was born just a few days before my 5th birthday. I suppose it helped that he was the only boy... imagine his infancy, surrounded by FOUR 'mothers'... smile. He is a great dad, I have to say - so she did something right.

I cannot even imagine having that many children, that close in age....it boggles my mind! But then, it also might have been a lot of fun and from past posts and occasional photos of family outings, I know it was that in addition to a lot of work for mom! Your family was obviously a source of great satisfaction to you and the results are something to be so very proud of...I've enjoyed catching up with this blog.

My boys hardly ever fought. S'pose they only had each other...BUT they spent hours wrestling. One would appear to half kill the other and then as if on a signal it would swap around. I never knew who or if one was harming the other
I would sit there intermittently saying;"Don't hurt him."
No one ever got hurt.
