Trash disposal issues exist where I live also! It gets downright disgusting! Folks making midnight dumpster runs... Seriously.

I feel for your son, and I know that the ranchers around here complain about this problem a lot. I'm afraid as items have become more and more disposable versus repairable...in addition to our having become even more of a consumer society....and then we have to save our planet...what to do with all the trash??!!The drought has even cut down on our ability to burn here. I believe in strong fines for anyone caught doing this. I would advise anyone in Texas not to dump on a ranch with a "Posted" sign on it as that rancher would very probably shoot first and try to get a tag number later.....just my best guess.

Totally outrageous! I don't know if a few surveillance cameras would work, but a few signs saying something like 'Under Camera Surveillance' might...

Well here they are imposing a penalty about 200$ if one throws rubbish down in the town and is caught. Cowboys occasionally dump tree prunings in ditches, the problem is that the official sites charge such a high price for business waste disposal. I have sympathy for your son. I hope he scared the wretch off for good.

This turned my stomach. There is so much me, me, me, in this world. So long as I am alright and save my money and time who cares about others. I just pray that the chap was scared off Son #3's property and never returns.

Trash dumping has become a major problem where I am at. It can be quite a hassle at the car washes.

Jerks who steal services (that's the crime they get charged with for
dumping in someone else's dumpster or property) ought to be ashamed of themselves.
When I worked at the college's purchasing dept. at a satellite location, people from the
town were always dumping their trash in our facility over the weekend & evenings. They
had extra police patrols, set up security cameras, but to my knowledge never caught them.
