Re: WileyJohn

And, I am proud of you for backing up and spending quality time with your homies.  Now that you have taken a leave, get back in there and start writing.  We miss you when you don't.

Re: Krisles

Hey sweetie, I am not offended in the sense that I don't like you anymore or anything like you needing forgiveness.  LOL.  Sorry if I hurt your feelings.  Everyone doesn't have to like the same things, and I really should stay away from opinion blogs if I can't stand the heat.  Keep writing.

I'm sorry that my post offended you so.....I really considered it my opinion, albeit a strong one.  As I stated in it, I did delete what had been the true angry commentary I had at first written!  But, I do agree that the anger does get to be too much.  I don't read stuff on FB; I think I just feel the need to express the thinking behind the emotion. That said, I don't ever intend to offend...other than that, I definitely felt better saying outloud what I felt....I just believe too many of us not doing so is what is wrong with this country; and anger is really a new, kind of awkward emotion for me, so I hope you can forgive.

I'm proud of myself for taking 5 days out of Blogit, I just ranted in my head or at the TV, maybe I'll make of myself a happier guy. Good post love.

FB especially seems to me to be in the main, just a place to copy and paste. i don't put anything on it unless it is of interest to family and friends. Except for one really naughty step Grandchild back in Australia. He is disgusting at times, and I should unfriend him but I know he is just trying to shock.

Good reason to go to Facebook.

Yes Taps we ought to be more serious and act like some members do. I must set an example. I'll never go to face-book to comment, I did once, but it was only to scold my nephew for showing a hairy female in the buff,

The Internet has turned into quite the ranting place. Maybe it will cool down after 2016, when the general election is over.

Re: Pat_B

Wouldn't it be something if everyone else behaved as we thing they should, agreed with the same things, enjoyed what I enjoyed.  It would be nice for about five minutes and then it would be boring as hell.  LOL

I don't understand social media. However, I guess that it's protected by freedom of speech. Say what? Mad magazine character Alfred E. Newman's making sense in the 10s: "What me worry?"

I find rants on FB tiresome, even when I agree with the ranter's

point of view. I delete memes by the dozen, those cookie-cutter philosophies that involved no thought or insight by the one who just copies from some website and pastes them to their home page - and mine.
