It is interesting to read all that happened to Job.

Re: GoldenMean

I've never considered myself an expert on anything, least of all anything at all concerning The Bible.  I fully agree with the second part of your comment.

TAPS--  I am delighted and honored that you are still visiting here.  Thanks kindly for the compliment,  from an expert on the Book of Job such as yourself.  I would imagine we are in a very small group of people,  who have given more than a passing glance at Job.  That is all I did,  until recently.

Even if God only has limits that he has set for himself,  it would be wise for us to investigate what those limits might be.  It might even give us a bit of an insight into the mind of God, even though we can never know his mind fully.  He has given us many possible clues in the scriptures.

I guess by now you are thinking that I must have deserted your posts, but I haven't.  I have been reading this series whenever my brain was suitable for the endeavor.  I'm quite familiar with the Book of Job having studied it on several occasions both in class and alone.  I must say that your exegesis is one of the best I have read and I hope to continue along with you.  I think the last time I commented on this blog I said something like "God has no limits."  I would like to expound on that just a wee bit.  God has no limits that He has not set for Himself, and for His Own purpose.  Who can know the mind of God?
