Well I bought a packet of cranberries they come from USA but they seem devoid of taste, probably unripe, but still I have eaten 6 this morning and they may be addictive perhaps soaked in brandy

You have a lot to live up to here. I think I can eat one cranberry each day. I recently bought three bags of fresh ones and stuck them in my freezer for when they are out of season.
