Indeed I try to avoid that. The elements of the story should be what pulls readers in. This one is turning out to be a bit on the whacky side. But as I said, this is a writing laboratory. :)

A good episode, the art is I think to everything interesting to the reader and not drift off as so many do into weary descriptions of prolonged examples of their skill.
