Robert Lewis Dear, accused of killing three people last month at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado, made a series of outbursts at a hearing Wednesday, saying, “I am a warrior for the babies.”
The fact that he didn't kill any doctors or staff speaks of his mindless rage which was at least aided by the screeching, ignorant rhetoric from so called pro-lifers. I don't agree with abortion that is for birth control purposes, but Pl. Parenthood does much, much more than that. They help prevent pregnancy from occurring in the first place and also provide needed medical care to low income women. Dear was/is obviously crazy and that points to yet another conservative blind-spot. Mass shootings are increasing faster and are claiming more innocent American victims than Islamic terrorist attacks in the U.S. yet nothing is done to staunch the flow of guns and weapons to people who should never get their hands on one, including would be terrorists.
