There are many, many products available to help with a quit
assuming you're talking about smoking - Chantix, which is supposed to have a really good rate of success; nicotine replacement aids, e-cigarettes, which can be used to taper the nic. levels down to zero while still providing oral satisfaction without the dangers of smoke being inhaled into the lungs. My mother quit a few years ago and so did I. She used nic. patches, I started having trouble breathing..I was diagnosed with an eventual fatal lung disease, which while the docs. blame my current very severe condition on childhood asthma and genetics, I'm sure my few years of smoking contributed something to the acceleration of my disease. You don't want to be where I am - no, it's not easy to quit, but it is easier than struggling for every breath. My only option for longer term survival is a lung transplant and that is a major, major undertaking. Quit before you get to this point!

Yes Doody. You do have a choice though. . I know what a Hell it is to give up I assume it is ciggies and not worse. The expense must be debilitating. We all smoked once, but some quit and eventually felt OK. about it.
