They have been serious for a long time now, Justi - it's just that modern technology is bringing it home to those who want to pay attention. For those who ignore it - well - one day they will have no choice but to pay attention too.

I suppose we are in a different position here Justi as guns are already banned. It does not stop those who want to use them acquiring one though. Cultures take a long time to change and everything is a puzzle.
