For us in America, Veterans Day is on November...That sounds like a good idea coordinating with the widow's daughter to make sure the widow is ready to go to church.

Remembering the service men and women, honoring the vets, thanking those now in the service of our countries are all something that is good and proper to do. Never forget is a great motto.

soundds a wonderful concept to really remember one particular soldier...here it is the big memorial day on the 11th with marches etc amd many shops closed. poppys have been sold now already for two weeks.
In australia there is a dawn service and then a minnute silence across the nation at the eleventh hour.
