I go to FB for friends...carefully added and grandchildren picturesa. It has been lovely for following sis' trip. That's it . Email of course

TAPS
I let the birrds twitter and tweet, and let people pin things on one another to their hearts' content - I wish them all well and hope they're having fun! I just can't be bothered - there's far too much really interesting stuff to read!
For example: It's still not entirely clear to me how exactly the Higgs boson 'works' nor why it was even necessary - I couldn't possibly write a proper science post on that...But I do like chocolate - it's even good for you, at least the dark kind...

I enjoy Blogit because I'm not bombarded with ads and cliches.
I only hang onto Facebook because of the occasional shots of my grandkids, but lately I can't upload (download?) the photos because someone somewhere has "improved" the technology. I think the tweeters and woofers of the other social web strings would just tangle the few remaining memory circuits I have left.

It does get confusing. I got onto Twitter to follow a couple of hockey players, and now people are followng me, and I have no earthly idea why....
But... at least we're trying out new things!
