Curry was one of many arrested as the result of a sting operation. He is charged with felony possession and intent to sell. If convicted, he's out at UNC. If the charges are reduced to misdemeanor possession or he cops a plea to a lesser charge, he might or might not be admitted. His admission could be subject to a review. Even if admitted, if there is a conviction or a plea bargain, Roy Williams could still withdraw his scholarship after evaluating the circumstances. Williams, like Dean Smith, is a good guy. But ever since the point-shaving scandal in the late 50s UNC has tried to maintain a squeaky clean image for the program. So its very much up in the air and dependent on the courts. Losing Curry would reduce the incoming class from best in the nation status to simply very good. I'll keep you posted as I learn more details.

Jameson Curry on drug charges? So what does that mean exactly? Is NC just afraid of him now because of his past or does this make him ineligible? Whatever it is, if you're that good, you gotta keep your head straight. That's a shame.
