Re: FormerStudentIntern.

Yes, that is a kind of lose/lose situation for her.

What aids Hilary (being part of the establishment) is what hurts her in the eyes of many (being part of the establishment).

Re: Re: Kabu,

absolutely...I get so nauseous with all the vitriolic stuff that is hurled around. all the empty promises and lies. And that is just from the media.

Re: Re: Re: TAPS,

So sad when it comes down to choosing by who is likely to do the least damage to the country.

Re: Re: TAPS,

LOL.  They are just so awful that they fascinate me.

Re: TAPS,

This is the season--one of them--when I am glad not to have a tv. As for the so-called debates, not a one of them has a chance of changing my mind about them, they have all been so... obvious from the beginning of their thoughts of running for the candidacy. I wish they would just keep running... away.

Re: Kabu,

I would so welcome Australia's 6 week campaigning season!

Very interesting and well-thought-out post.  I slept through the debate last evening (a very late nap) but I am in the middle of watching it by video.  Had to take a break though.  I can only take that sort of thing a little at a time.  LOL

Re: Katray,

I think Bernie Sanders is an exception to that standard. I don't know Hillary's stance.

Well said, Ciel; my sentiments too!

In my opinion, the problem with all of the candidates, both parties, is that they are war hawks in varying degrees, but still hawk-ish and so many of us are truly war weary.

Re: CCT,

She may be, in fact... certainly far, far more than any of the Republican Clown Parade on offer!

Sometimes an outside view is very useful, considering that no one in the world is there alone.

Funnily Ciel I used to think she was good presidential material. Not that it matters to me.

So I can only go by the feel of you guys over yonder, we have enough of our own worries.
