The Photos really put faces to your characters who really lived. They don't look too much different to my ancestor pictures. Perhaps, yes definitely larger stronger men. and of course one never smiled for the photographer.

Such a change in attitude from father to son. How different from today, I suppose parcels of land were on offer to those willing to farm them. The gentlemen look so formal, perhaps it was just for the photo.

The stories those ghost towns can tell...I would like to go through one. I imagine it would feel very eerie.
