Justi,

I agree with everything you write about here.  What has become of us?  I wrote that same thing just the other day to a friend.  People kill animals for sport and or trophies...and far worse, we kill one another for no reason at all...or for the most idiotic of reasons...sheer hatred.

As we weep, so does God Himself.

God be with and bless you, sweet lady.

Sadly I think that the majority do not think about tragedies Justi. I suppose the human mind is programmed to overwrite as it were anything too horrible to contemplate.

Ironically the lion is allowed to be thought of as something that can feel pain and is a part

of nature. One empathizes with the lion's cruel death, because it is bearable, the same happens when one learns of a local child being cruelly treated. It is all sad really.

I would like to see more concern shown for people as well.

I think life is cruel. History says it all. Staying close to God is best of remedy to human soul

RFor myself, I believe in creation. For myself, God gave man dominion over the animals. But, there’s conservation. I believe in ensoulment at creation. Humans are created in God’s image. Animals aren’t. Whether or not humans will see their pets in heaven, Maybe. And beheadings solicit the same response from Christians as earlier in history. We look to God love.  BC-A,Bill’s Roost
