Re: Re: Kabu

and i say that they have changed but not imporved. islamic people have always hated Christians...they just were letting it stew...People accepted colored people with their lips but not with their hearts and it is showing. No stringing some one up so much as shooting in the back....

Re: Kabu

Maybe you were in a hurry and missed part of my comment! I didn't say racism was dead! I said things have improved over the last 150 years...

I think maybe a lot of prejudiced was really fear Taps. Folk were probably superstitious

in those days. Now things have changed somewhat it is like an honour to have such a character in the blood line.

echoes of Tom Ugly for me...and I totally disagree with Naut on this one. Prejudice, racism is far from dead World wide. I am loving this story. I can see your ancestor tall handsome strong and proud. I am thrilled to meet him through your words.

I love this! Has racism disappeared? Certainly not! But I do insist that things have improved in the course of the last 150 years! In 1885 Riel was hanged for leading a rebellion - today he is a folk hero...And in this country institutionalized forms of discrimination no longer exist...
