I was not alive during Vietnam. Therefore, I cannot say. What I can do is compare things to Afghanistan and the Second Iraq War. I would say the support for taking out Isis is as great as it is for Afghanistan.

No idea Bill, I think most are fed up with violence, but do not like to see young lads brought home in coffins.

I don't have an answer for your discussion question, but I would like to know if you have ever written for TV programs/series? Some of the stuff I see on TV reminds me of your writing. I think you should write a script for Blue Bloods. I'd watch it.
