i am so sorry. I don't know what else to say.  Some marriages are horrific and some are a blessing. I have had both and thank God for the blessing I have now.

You know I'm not the marrying type. Much of my problem has been living in rural

areas for the last 20 plus years. I prefer to live in the country but small town women

want to get married quick and are less focused on careers. So, it has been an issue for

me--someone who grew up in the suburbs of N.Y. I have the mindset of a suburbanite....

Well K. We all make mistakes, intelligence, or what we deem to be intelligence does not come into the matter. Actually the happiest marriages, or the most agreeable marriages appear to be the one with one dominant partner. As my cousin said to me my hubby and I have never quarreled through the entire period of our marriage. Well they seem contented.

I have noticed several pairs who follow the same routine. Not neccessarily male dominated. Frustrating though for those who have to venture an opinion to them always two to one.
