The only trouble V. What happens if one becomes ill. Maybe there will not be a vet nearby. I would let that animal take you for a few runs into the sunset and see if it is practical or desirable wuff! wuff! This wags my tail.

I must admit though, that I am more like you though--I love nature and being alone in nature so much more than dealing with people on a daily basis.

Very interesting. 
It made me think of my Dad's favorite poem and how he exemplified it in his life.  He was always helping someone, or visiting someone, or inviting someone in for coffee: 

The House by the Side of the Road

Come up here and camp on our land. No one here will worry you. We go for days even weeks without someone coming up the drive.
