I think I'll take a rain check on this one. I remember when the Danes invaded our shores.

Well it was a bit later on actually, when we thought someone else would. So I guess one just cannot absorb too many negative vibes. Although I know for those who have a more

sensitive awareness of a possible impeding tragedy, finding a solution is indeed something to mull over.

Historically, every generation since written History began, the end of the World as we want it has been predicted and yes, changes, usually cruel and unacceptable to certain parts of society have taken place. Twenty five years of Peace, prosperity and a certain amount of comfort for all is about the extent of what one can expect before there is change.

Also, I am now going to address the two comments you left to my entry "The First Plan."

I understand where you are coming from. That is not some empty, political rhetoric. I find it frustrating the blog format does not enable me to better present my content you commented on.

The entries centered around the "Know Thyself" assignment belong to Giving Up Teaching, a series of mine that has morphed into a book written over seven years. A book does not lend itself well to the Blogosphere because none of the choices to present it are efficient.

Posting a massive amount of content in one entry or multiple entries in the same day would cause most of the content to be lost in the shuffle.

Writing an entry every day would get in the way of other content I want to post and would still drag things out.

The choice I have made is to post one Giving Up Teaching Series every two weeks, getting the clicks, but dragging things out.

I have done some thinking, and temporarily, I will change the posting schedule to get through this porition of the book quicker. There are three, maybe four entries left to the "Know Thyself" portion. Instead of every other Tuesday, I will post one related entry every Tuesday. So that way, if you choose to come back and read the entries after they are done, you can do so July 14th at the latest, and I would let you know if it is instead July 7th if that is the case.

In closing, I am going to out on a limb and state what I believe you will feel were you to read each entry as it appears:

Entry #1 (June 23): I feel you will feel more satisfied with this entry than the last entry becuase you will see me be proactive and attempt to make things right. I will say that nothing developed from my attempt.

Entry #2 (June 30th): I do not feel that you will satisfied with this entry because it is an analysis related to the first attempt not developing into anything.

Entry #3 (july 7th): I will you feel more satisfied with this entry than #2 because I am back to being proactive, taking the final course of action to make things right. If I am able to conclude the aftermath in this entry, you will feel complete satisfaction.

Entry #4 (if needed July 14th): You will feel complete satisfaction.

I see that metaphorical winter coming as well...Hopefully, those current problems can be handled before they develop into even larger problems.

Krisles

Having seen the signs, I too am being haunted and have been for a long time...I see no hope of the birth of the man...Winter is coming indeed, and this reminds me of a poem I wrote a long time ago and maybe I'll post it again...
