It is very scary being an ex-cop I saw many accidents and
back in the 60's as a teen I was cruising in a convertable with the top down on a four lane highway when a dog came from under the divider. I hit the brakes and spun the car around, hit the curbing on the center island and blew out the tire. Of course I had no seat belt on and came close to flipping the car. A real wake up call, until the next time when I drove nuts with my Z28 Camaro. But eventually I grew up.
