I do not believe it will be AI that ends the human race. God is in his heaven and has everything under control, though it doesn't seem like it to we mortal humans down here.

Very interesting post. Good point you made on their egos. And the last two paragraphs
I found most interesting. Yes, the human race is devolving as a whole but I still cannot
be convinced yet.

Well K., I just wouldn't want to contradict you on anything you have written. You obviously have a thought process that is superior to mine. I suppose many of us hardly think beyond the next holiday, perhaps it makes life easier not to examine the possibility
of the future not being to our advantage.

Well! This is really fantastic - it's the first time ever, I think, that someone has gone to the length you have in responding to one of my offerings! It's more than I could possibly deal with here, but there are points I shall address specifically in 'class', LOL...Oh, and you'll get an A+++, of coarse...(And I know you won't, but just in case anyone else should be tempted to point out my spelling error, don't bother, LOL...)

A very interesting read, I find this to be. I see the human race devolving as well. Hopefully, that trend can be stopped.

Interesting post and One I enjoy although Science is not a subject I am much good at.
I actually don't believe that machines can take over humans...pull the plug Nuke their central source, throw water over them, machines cannot operate without humans to maintain them. Or so I believe.
Genetic engineering is another story. what is to stop someone from producing a Super giant race and other races of inferior slaves. Been done before without engineering.
