Don't let it make you tired or weary. God wants you to enjoy His word so read it at your leisure and don't let it stress you.The first Scripture i ever learned was the third chapter of John and the 16th verst. It was so awesome to me to understand that God had given his Son for my assurance in going to Heaven. I loved that.

I am reading 'John' very slowly, just so you know, I have a hard time absorbing the structure of the writing so this is a big project for me, I'll keep you posted.

No I did not know about this slowing between the brain and the legs and will check it out further and yes I will go slower. You make sense actually because I am wearing good footwear and not doing crazy things but still I fall.
