I hear so many good things about Austin and I believe some of those underground

mountains are volcanic. Never heard of Rhiannon Giddens.'

I am glad that you had a nice Mother's Day...I remember reading about Ballard some years ago. A very interesting man who was behind an interesting exploration.

Our Mothers Day here was comprised of periodic bouts of very heavy rain interspersed with periods of bright sunshine.  One never knew what it was going to do from one minute to another.

I am glad you had a calm easy Mother's Day and chatted with your children. You should see the chopped names in the South for some of the French names places were given. But we all know what we are talking about.

I'm glad you had a nice Mother's Day, without thunderstorms for a change, LOL...I have seen Robert Ballard's pictures of the Titanic - magnificently eerie...Your remarks about the 'proper' pronunciation of Llano reminds me of similar situations in other parts, particularly in Nova Scotia. For example: there's a place with the French name of Havre Boucher - the locals call it Harbor Bushy, LOL...
