What a fantastic response! If only everyone could express themselves with such clarity on complicated issues

You are a passionate little lady Ciel. I wish folk could stay in a slaughter house for a day or as it is called a abattoir. I would prefer to partake of a deer that was shot from a distance.I agree with you though shooting for pleasure is not to be applauded, unless it is organized as a culling process and the hunter pays for this activity thus contributing to the welfare of the survivors.

The very fact that the post has been pulled shows it is very good. Too balanced for me but then I am an animal nut who prefers animals to ugly humans ....stopping right now before Ia get carried away.

Re: Thanks, Chuck_Ibrahim

I'm glad I saved it to post over here, since the original post has vanished.

Re: Pat,

Apparently I was lucky to have the opportunity.  That whole post has now disappeared, presumeably pulled by WWF who posted it in the first place.

I really like your reasoned response to this question.

It's exactly how I feel about the question, but just never quite came up with the words to express it.
