I look at people through paradigms as well. You do a great relating them to Islam.

I've travelled a lot in my life love and met people from so many cultures. Spent time with them, travelled with them...There is so much to understand about different cultures. To blame everything on one thing like their religion just doesn't work. We basically think, believe, feel totally differently. After becoming what I felt was very good friends, I often found that I was misunderstanding so much, that people really have completely different rules in society to what I could fathom. it's really exciting to meet someone and then over some years to really discover how they think and what they think and feel and what is acceptable to them or not.

Your first paragraph makes good sense to me. I have to take some time off from the

computer and go back to reading books for a while. As far as ''some'' of these religions

and beliefs, they seem to be missing reality in the twenty first century. One, also,

would be catholicism, which I grew up with. But, I guess I never made it a point to

understand religion too deeply. Perhaps I can't make good judgment on the subject.

Krisles  I would try to just be happy if you can. We are so small in terms of the universe, you should I feel have been a scientist , but then my brother was one and he is moody.

I just love reading your blogs invisible hands mopping an invisible dog. It is funny how one can feel the sensations through thoughts. I usually mix red wine with lemonade as I did note on a tablet I take that I should not drink. I think port will keep for yonks but it may lose its bouquet if it has been previously opened. I suppose one could use it in a kind of gravy as a garnish, but I tend to throw things out if I am not sure of the quality.
