Yes, I believe you are right. I am trying to be as amicable as possible. I have replaced many of the possessions by either bartering with client out of the country or have had some very generous friends give me larger things so I don't take as much.

My attorney suggested that this may be why he damaged the computers. He never thought that I would get a lawyer and now that I have, he is trying to clean up some of his control tactics.
I decided that I did not want to know what he was up to. One because you cant wash that from your brain once it is there and I do not want to be with someone who feels he needs to hide everything.
Once I can move in it will also be good to put in my change of address, as he collects the mail in his briefcase or auto. I don't have anything to hide but need to see my mail. Thanks for your comments, they are helpful.

I do hope things will turn out without too much Agro . I wouldn't worry about small possessions. It is a big shake up for both of you and if these things can be dealt with amicably, it makes life easier. Good luck.

you might want to have them check to make sure he didn't have spyware put on your pc....a friend of mine had that happen with her soon to be ex
