Well, TAPS, I can say, with truthful experience, that I was grateful for a deck of cards and a Bible! Tough times . . .

Well, Bill, I would say almost everything . . .

Re: JimmyA

Believe it or not, Sir Wiley, but everyone I know always roots for the bulls too! Glad that got a chuckle out of you . . .

Re: Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy....

An attorney, Krisles? What makes you say that? I was always under the impression that attorney's didn't really have a sense of humor . . .

Re:

I try to keep it relatively clean, C C T! No use getting too 'down and dirty' when it's actually not necessary. And no 'stand-ups' here. I'd rather simply sit down and write . . .

Re:

True sentiments, Kabu, that I think everyone can relate to. A lot of politicians can be considered 'old birds,' but how many of them can actually be considered wise . . . ?

Well, Annicita, let me put it this way: if that swordsman was as accurate as he claims, it's probably a moot point now . . .

Is that what it takes, lustor? I might have to post these everyday then . . .

Re: Jimmy

Either way, Naut, someone who complains vehemently to a bartender is probably going to be dragged out of that saloon one way or another . . .

Re:

I had a feeling, FSI, that some bloggers may not have initially recognized 'KFC,' so spelling it out seemed to make more sense. However, I still say that finger-licking is not the eminent domain of one franchise . . .

Re:

I suppose, adnohr, it would require some proof. However, since they were 'noble' swordsman, the king just had to take his word for it . . .

If I was in solitary confinement, I would be very thankful for a deck of cards to play solitary.  Hangman's noose wouldn't be much fun if you didn't have someone to play it with you.  I also would need a Holy Bible to read, and perhaps some crossword puzzles and a dictionary.

  • Many people mistakingly think that bulls charge at a waving cape because of an inherent hatred of the color red. And those who know that bulls are actually color-blind then mistakingly think the bull is charging at the waving motion of the cape itself. Let me set the record straight. That cape nor the color red has anything to do with the bull’s charge! He’s after that asshole in the stupid-looking tights and dumb hat who’s been taunting him for the past half hour!
I loved that baby right there, I didn't know that but I'd love the bull to win now and again. LOL

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy....

Are you sure you aren't an attorney?......

Yes that was really funny Jimmy nothing to do with flies on trousers of course. Now the greatest swords-man could have done that with his next two swipes. Well I am not a comedian evidently. I must leave the stand ups to you. You always make me smile never too rude that's nice.

LOL! BTW, you would never drag me kicking and screaming out of a bar because the martini was too dry, though possibly if it wasn't dry enough...

LOL. That is a great point about Kentucky Fried Chicken and its claim of being finger licking good...Speaking of which, that is the first time in a long time that I have seen the fast food chain referred to by its full name and not KFC.

Hmmm - I would request that the fly be caught and the claim investigated!
