Re:

Glad to hear it, C C T, although they seem to be getting more and more bizarre as time goes by. Yes, I suppose you may have already heard about that particular incident, and I'm sure many of your fellow Brits were somewhat embarrassed by it. Yes, there are subtler ways of making a point or statement, something this woman still needs to learn! And she's a teacher? Appalling . . .

Re:

Thanks, chuck. However, these are the types of stories and incidences that I sometimes wish I didn't have the means to share. Almost makes one ashamed to be a part of the human race . . .

Re:

I understand completely, Kabu. Anytime you read any kind of story where it seems an animal ( or several ) were tortured, maimed or killed for something as ridiculous as paws for a necklace, you hope something terrible happens to the perpetrators in return. We'll see. Justice comes in many forms . . .

Re:

I have a feeling, adnohr, he was simply trying to justify such an enormous attack, although he could have been right! And yes, that knucklehead with the bear paws should probably be dropped into a den of angry bears and see those paws in action up close . . .

Re: Jimmy

What, no glass of peculiarity to go with that, Naut? I'd send that meal back if I were you . . .

Re:

As usual with these stories, FSI, there's a lot of 'pieces' missing. The fact that one particular dugout needed to be sprayed with a special foam indicates to me that there may have been a nest in there that was 'disturbed' at some point. I'm sure they'll take a good look inside first next time before someone shouts "Play ball!"

Re:

Only if, Annicita, those Darwin Awards are for those still stuck along the evolutionary path! We, the 'fully developed' ones, are still watching and waiting for them to catch up . . .

Well Jimmy I must make one kind of moral comment being as it happened on my doorstep relatively speaking as you know you would fall in the sea if one went too far in any direction . I really think the lady should have worn her knickers we could imagine the rest. I really enjoyed todays gems.

It is reasuring to know there are still the weird and crazy out there although the bear Paw one undid me of course. I'd like to ....but never mind...

Bear paws for necklaces? How cruel!! The rest of these are hilarious - especially like the old guy's comment on the reason for his many bee stings.

Jimmy

LOL! They all make sense in some crazy way - the last one? It's kind of a big slice of bizarre with a helping of weird on the side, slathered with a sauce of insanity...

I wonder what brought about those bees at the baseball game.
