I didn't mean to offend or hurt you by stating your blog was too long.My frustrations with lengthy blogs should simply have caused me not to read or comment as I did. Actually I'll simply leave a  and move on. Because I am a senior old grouch with PTSD shouldn't offend anyone but if my action caused upset to you, forgive me.

I enjoyed reading your memories about your church going. I am glad that I go to a church where one does not have to dress in one's Sunday Best.

Well K. Mum made us go to Church every Sunday Morning and we always seemed to be late. The door gave a horrible creak as we opened it and all eyes turned as we crept in. We never thought of not going in. I can't say I enjoyed it as we could never hear what the Rector was groaning on about. We all sat right at the back of the Church. A warden sat a few pews behind. Always in the same place because my Dad had carved his name into the pillar in front of our seat. I spent most of the time carving the families initials into the stone I don't know if the Warden knew, but he never said anything. The trouble was I had to keep blowing the dust away to conceal my crime and rub a grubby finger into the stone so no one would know it was a new mark. Our attendance must have been noted, the Rector asked if I would like to carry a plate or something in front of the choir boys.I declined politely, inwardly shuddering.

Although I don't practice religion at the time, I did grow up with some of it in my

younger years. I couldn't deny that some of my moral beliefs stemmed from those

 early years at church.
