interesting post. intuition, i have had some, but i sometimes wonder if it is not that at a certain time i was listening closer than usual so when something happened i thought i knew it would before it happened, but could be just that i listened closer and remembered what i heard.

Well, everyone has intuition.  Some clearer than others.  The truth as I believe is that Minds communicate far more than words or actions.  I knew as a child before I walked into the front door if I were in trouble.  It is a given and not a gift.  The gift at using the given is what is so amazing.

I may not be such a good writer, but have been researching such subjects and find that some people are very gifted at using their given intuition and are not really aware of it.  When going on a ghost hunt to learn whether or not this was just junk, the last of the southern gentlemen surprised me.  He was my husband.  Good ole red neck whom I admire dearly.  I believe he sharpened his abilities when he was a sniper in Vietnam.  Or maybe younger, when his intuition told him there was a deer coming.  He was the clear winner in this hunt.  And I thought I would be.  Don't get me wrong, I was good, but he was sharper than any of the so called pro's.

I liked the subject in this post. Not this time of the morning, because it was long, but

I enjoyed it and would like to read more related posts in the future.

A very thorough analysis of intuition. I enjoyed reading your in-depth analyses on a variety of topics.

A very good analysis, one that's hard to argue with. I too try to rely on 'instincts' as often as possible, being somewhat pragmatic. I tend to weigh things in 'pros & cons.' If the cons outweigh the pros . . .

Well! You'll get an A+ not for the effort, but for its result! This is suberbly well argued and written - you've really got to the heart of it! And I don't say that because you've been flattering the 'teacher' shamelessly, LOL...

I give you an A. If I had known all this in Psychology 101 I would not have gone three more years laboring over what I have surely learned was 99% junk. I have been doing what you talk about in a room of people for over 65 years. This is good work.
