Re: Vt

Naut, a pitafly is a common Vt. insect. Joking, thankyou very much for your input.

Any time I can get feedback like this I feel I'm getting a better value with Blogit.

A lot of interesting stuff there, some of which might be expanded a bit! Krisles already mentioned the spell check, and you should make use of that! In one of your earlier posts I thought at first you were writing about an insect - the 'pitafly', but then realized you meant something entirely different...

Re: Vt01

Thankyou, Krisles any tips from more experienced writers like yourself is greatly

appreciated. And, I don't know where the man got the money. There are many

philanthropists in Vt. Also I think the woman just out smarted that man.

I like the old man.  I wonder if he knows that the old wood from the shack can sell for tons of money in the city.  People go crazy over it.

What I often find interesting in your telling of these stories are the things that you found interesting!  And I would like to know more about your little man - where did the $30K come from?! Swindled by a drunken woman?! Even an electrical fire in the shack you describe sounds intriguing.....but then, I have seen so many of these characters in the back areas of Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Texas that I guess I expect them in any heavily wooded areas.  But, as always, entertaining read.  Just a tip, you might find the spell-check helpful - it's on the Blogit tool bar, upper left...I try to remember to always use it even when I paste from Word.

Seems he had some hard walks there with his pot-belly to carry but it maybe kept him warm in the winter.

your characterization of this man was really good. You brought him alive to me. If one goes into the places where time seems to stand still one can always find great characters. Where we live it is a funny back water area and many folks are somewhat too closely related. It makes for very interesting people watching.
