lol taps

that may be my laugh for the day, even though as you pointed out it is not a real belly laugh.  but we have those days, all of us , but i love your attitude that we need to laugh every day, laughing is great medicine and we also live longer, i think that is a proven fact and if it is not it needs to be.

TAPS

Things can only improve from here on in, LOL! And I love Brussel sprouts - one way I like them is  1)halving them; 2) blanching them for 2 min;  3) roasting them in a bit of butter with chopped pancetta (or bacon ) and chopped sweet onion, P & S to taste...

My daughter told me to bake them to a crisp after drizzling

olive oil, they need to turn brown, center stays soft & tastes a bit like butter.  Worth a try.

Well sometimes I actually laugh at my own jokes , perhaps you could try that Taps.

There is nothing worse than badly cooked Brussel Sprouts, unless one tries to make wine from them and then they really smell vile. It must be trying in all that bitter weather, you should not stand around and get cold.

Now you have me thinking....did I laugh today?  I'm not sure.

Tell him to boil them then either leave them whole or mash them and quick rey them in Olive oil and a squeeze of lemon....Greek way. and beautiful   for brussel sprouts. Wiley refused to eat them until he tried mine.

And you have a warm bath and rest up after all that cold. Wiley does that too.
