Re: fsi

the bees are really interesting and fun and surprisingly enough not that hard to take care of, but i guess they have been taking care of themselves for thousands of years.  it is the humans poisoning the earth that i think is killing off the bees, we had better be careful i have read that it would  only take 7 years after bees for humans to die. off.

Re: naut

you know the best part of flying is taking off.  period.  i do like the freedom that driving gives a person.....the freedom to get there and leave when you want and not having to depend on anyone to get you to the airport, driving is winning out?

Re: Dear friend

yes, i agree it is the doing and deciding and being busy that keeps us young, you are so right.  and i guess we all have to one degree or another arthritis.  i am leaning towards taking two days there and two back and maybe even talking my friend into going with me.   and taking a week.  i am selling my jewelry too, not that i have that much, but i do not need it.  and if i ebay for the next two months i should be good to go.

I love the bee project. Our country is in serious need of bees right now. So many of them are dying off, and no one can figure out why exactly.

There's obviously advantages and disadvantages to both flying, and taking long drives. But like Naut, I too have come to detest flying. However, his reasons are more because of the 'pre-boarding ritual' that drives everybody mad! As for me, it is that fear of being 20,000 feet in the air . . . and something goes wrong! I'd rather take the long drive! And that freshly-made honey sounds wonderful. Something to spread out on the crackers and munch on while you're taking care of all that furniture . . .

Glad to here you are perking up Jean. I hope you do have a good sale.

You sound a lot happier now, you have a new freedom which is better than being

undermined. You have your sons and grandchildren. Do be careful driving it seems a long way to me.

Jean

If the weather is fine, an eight hour drive can be fun, especially if you stop and see some sights on the way and take two days! I've come to hate flying like the plague - not being in the air, but all the crap you have to deal with beforehand...

Dear friend

I really think that it is doing and deciding and being busy that keeps us young...although I am feeling the pain of Arthritis lately. An 8 hour drive now may take me two days to get to my destination now. Good idea to sell the antques...that money could pay for your trip.
