A rough time for you Star , Children can hardly understand a parent being afraid as the same person has guarded them through the same experience and it is hard to understand the parent's plea.Take care.

You're absolutely right. Everyone needs someone! Heckle & Jeckle, Lewis & Clark, Batman & Robin, even Tom had Jerry, although they did seem to fight a lot! I'm so sorry you're usually alone. That has to be tough . . .

i think that family members are so scattered and so busy that the elderly are neglected because no one realizes that to live for one call a month is a long wait. I think babies are lonely in long day care with both parents and often grandparents working long hours. There is much loneliness and neglect which leaves the opening for trouble in society
