I hope he decides to stay as well. Not a kind place to live, the middle east.

It seems the blogger still isn't able to endure the 2nd flogging yet, and hopefully our government will be able to convince the Saudi's to leave be. Love Bronson as a name, and would feel the same if one of my loved ones was anywhere near that area.

It would be easier for the world if all the Muslim countries were

as apparently tranquil and carefully governed as the Saudi kingdom. Doesn't mean I agree with their politics, I just appreciate that they don't seem to be practicing terrorists.

As far as I am concerned the Muslim World is fast sliding back into the 7th century AD and will eventually become shut off from the rest of the World...at least until they start to hurt for money. It seems we can do without thsir oil....I would like all CHristians to be safely from their grasp. I saw  Utube on FB of a woman beheaded in a car park. No dignity..well I didn't see ghastly details but it is Barbaric.

I don't see any changes in the near future even with the new king. It is going to be Saudi Arabia as usual.

TAPS

This won't change anything in Saudi, one way or the other. It's tweedledee and tweedledum...

I can't say that I blame you for feeling that way. I've been saying for quite a while that I simply don't understand anyone's desire today to travel to anywhere in the Middle East for any reason! It can't possibly be worth the risk! I hope he's okay there too . . .

No not the ideal employment,  with the oil price now so low, jobs are being cut. Although they can produce cheaply out there. We grumble about things , but it could be worse.

Oh, yeah, Saudi Arabia does not have a great human rights record there.

i am not sure how Salman's rule is going to go. He supposedly is in bad health himself.
